I'm off of school today due to a power outage. To be quite honest, I'm really kind of bummed out. I really wanted to go to school today, mostly because I enjoy it but also for the vain, irrelevant, and simplistic reason; "I'm having a good hair day." I wouldn't be quite so upset if I hadn't gotten all ready and drove 3/4 of the way to school. It's strange though because my school, and two other parochial schools in the area, are the only schools that have taken the day off. All the public schools are still up and running. The cancellation is actually the reason I'm starting this blog. I'm bored and I've been meaning to start a blog for a while now. I noticed that I had actually tried starting a blog last year, which I forgot about till today. I found that I had already created an about me and it's kind of funny because I had mentioned the reason for starting a blog last year and it happens to be the exact same reason I have again this year. I realize my previous sentance just sounds straight out dumb, but for some reason I feel, or maybe it's more like hope,that I've changed quite a bit since last year. Here's an expansion on the purpose of my blog: My feelings and thoughts are spewed all about in various journals and notebooks in a very unorganized manner. Since I tell my friends and various other people my revelations and ideas more frequently than I ought; I decided a blog might be a good idea. Sometimes people are too nice to tell me to just shut up, but if they are genuinely interested in my thoughts, as they occasionally appear to be, they can come to my blog! This way I can spare the victims of my opinions any future annoyances.
