Simple Stuff.

Today was quite a lovely day. I started it off right with PB&J toast...mmm. I played with my little brother and watched cartoons with him. This is one thing I really love about having a little brother. I've always been big into morning cartoons, but prior to Kyle's birth every time I sat down to some good quality morning toons my mom would scold me and say, "Stop watching cartoons, get off your butt, and do something productive!" Now when I watch cartoons with Kyle I never get scolded because it appears as though we are bonding with one another and it also keeps Kyle from bugging my mom when she's trying to work. Then my padre, Kyle, and I all took a little trip over to the Discovery World Museum downtown. We have a membership there. I'm very grateful for that, because it's always I nice little break from daily life to go and play around with various pulleys and such. I especially like the Les Paul House of Sound. It's so gorgeous near the lake there. Milwaukee is quite the beautiful city...well most parts at least. Then my good friend from H.S. whom I hadn't seen since the end of May came over to pick me up and we went to Noodles, where I got the glorious Thai curry soup as always. We were able to catch up on absolutely everything and we then felt as if we had been near each other the whole summer. We wanted to do some crazy things that we had been longing to do for quite some time and we wanted to find some random people to hangout with, but it ended up just being us two. We made our own crazy. We also went to the grocery store to smell laundry detergent. This is one of our favorite pastimes. The smell of Laundry detergent is probably the most heavenly smell on the face of the planet. We also watched Friends for quite sometime; what a great show. It was just a great day jam packed with family, good food, and the incomparable joy of the presence of a great friend.

The post where I typed the word "blog" far too many times.

Wow! Definition:An exclamation of admiration or amazement. This one word is all that can be used to describe the events, decisions, blessings, and memories of the past few months. I really wish I had kept up the whole blogging thing, because much of what has occurred within the time frame of relinquished blogging would have been much more worthwhile to blog about than all of the other random junk I blogged about in the previous months. Well, actually it wasn't all that junky...just junky compared to what I could have been blogging about. The reasons I stopped blogging in the first place are all so very juvenile and dumb, so in order to try and bandage my self-mutilated ego (I can be so awfully dramatic sometimes...) I'm going to refrain from mentioning them. The day that I decided to get rid of my blog was a day of cynicism, malice, and all other words sadly synonymous. Meh...it was probably best at the time. I'm still hesitant to put my thoughts out here like this, but I'm much more motivated to blog than journal half the time and since it's so stinkin' therapeutic and also lots of fun to look back on old posts, I'm going to dive back into blogging. Blog. Blogging. Blogged. I just had to throw in every tense of the word blog once again since I probably typed some form of the word blog over a gazillion times already in this post. That's a funny word. Anyhow, I decided that this post is going to be a brief overview of the general topics that I would have blogged about had I continued blogging into the months of April, May and June.
1. Quitting my job at Joann's. (Thank the Lord and sing his praise!)
2. Getting hired at the most amazing place ever! (Ditto to above phrase in parentheses.)
3. LONDON!
4.Life guarding class.
5.Prom!
6. Getting accepted to MN.
7. AP Exams.
8. The Senior "Art Show" (The Quotes are to designate this whole ordeal as a wretched joke. It would have been a heavily sarcasm infested and fairly hilarious post.)
9. Visiting MN.
10. Deciding to go to MN...Last (and I mean VERY LAST) moment possible.
11. Graduation.
12. Leaving for camp the very same day as graduation.
13. CAMP!
14. All of the numerous blessings God has bestowed upon me.
There probably would have been posts about random movies or books or quotes and such laced throughout these, but these are the major highlights of my life thus far. Right now I'm going to end this somewhat boring, but necessary post before it gets too, "I don't even know..." But I'm thrilled to blog once again. I'm home from camp this week, so I'm going to try and get as much blogging out of my system before I have to go back, because then I'll really only have time to blog on weekends and possibly not even then. And just for good measure...BLOG.
